FEBRUARY 25 – EVERY SINGLE SECRET (suspense: new special-sized paperback):
When respectable Joe Grantham appears on Rowen’s doorstep, she gets it wrong. Horrifically, passionately wrong. She lets him in, reveals too much, and finds herself sucked into a dangerous maelstrom of secrets, intrigue—and if she dares grasp the terrible challenge, the chance to reclaim the life and family she lost so many years before.
“The suspense was so bad I had to read it backwards. Read the last chapter, then the next to the last, then the one before that- you get the idea. Then went back to where I’d left off and read to the end. I haven’t done that in years. Just so good. I want Chinese Food!!” — Reader Beth Amazon review for EVERY SINGLE SECRET
MARCH 11 – GIRL ANONYMOUS (suspense new release in hardcover, ebook, audiobook):
“The Godfather” meets “West Side Story” in this dark and sexy thriller about a deadly explosion that forever changes the lives of a mafioso and a woman divided by an ancient and deadly family vendetta. What happens between them in the darkness sets their worlds on fire, as Maarja recklessly abandons her life-long caution and finds herself bound to Dante by destruction, passion and destiny.
(This book delves deep into my romance roots, so think danger, adventure, sexy times between a dominant man and a strong, determined heroine. This either makes you say, Yipe! or toss confetti and pre-order. Obviously, I’m hoping for the pre-order. )
APRIL 29 – WHAT DREAMS MAY COME (Historical fiction: eBook—all links may not yet be up, but they’re coming!) A year is a long time to wait between Daughter of Montague books. How about a Daughter of Montague novella to whet your appetite?
Gentle reader, I, Rosie Montague, am not only failing on the spinster front, but I have also failed to set an example for my seven siblings (soon to be eight, thanks to my parents’ embarrassingly undying passion.) Specifically, 13-year-old Katherina, along with her friend, Princess Isabella. In their desire to honor my romance (now ill-fated) by commissioning a sonnet, they imitated my own youthful folly and dressed like well-born young males, complete with stuffed codpieces, and swaggered into the night. Their poetic mission accomplished, they celebrated, landed in scandalous circumstances—and the princess was robbed of her mother’s priceless ring . . .
With our fates and family names at stake, I must save the day. What ensues will require that I visit a brothel, infiltrate the thief’s debaucherous lair, and dodge Prince Escalus. I can only hope to keep intact my virginity—and my life. The latter especially, should my parents find out . . .
(Surprise! Daughter of Montague is such a joy to write, I couldn’t resist adding to the book list. In my enthusiasm, I wrote the longest novella I’ve ever written. 🙄 Solid proof I don’t know what I’m doing. But I have fun while doing it!)
MAY 27 – A DAUGHTER OF FAIR VERONA (historical fiction trade paperback edition release):
The return of Rosie Montague #1! One month before before book 2 comes out, A DAUGHTER OF FAIR VERONA will be released in trade paperback.
I’m the eldest daughter of Romeo and Juliet. Yes, that Romeo and Juliet. No, they didn’t die in the tomb. They’re alive and well and living in fair Verona with their six wildly impetuous children and me, their nineteen-year-old daughter Rosaline…
JUNE 24 – THUS WITH A KISS I DIE release (historical fiction new release in hardcover, ebook, audiobook):
The delightfully irreverent eldest daughter of the not-so-ill-fated Romeo and Juliet returns to sleuth another day in fair Verona, in this hugely entertaining historical mystery series with a refreshingly bold premise. (Think Hamlet! Think a ghost in the palace, a cold case Rosie must solve, her ongoing romantic issues, and of course the fabulous and rapidly growing Montague family!)
October 2025 –A Daughter of Montague Family Christmas novella
Title TK, buy links TK, cover TK, plot brewing right now, and my early research on Italian Renaissance Christmas has filled me with joy because traditionally it was a lovely, religious and bright holiday. That makes my work a constant pleasure and maybe, just maybe, this novella won’t be a small novel. 🙏
